The icon to stream to Apple TV is ridiculously close to the closed captions icon which means it’s difficult even for an adult to use without mistakes. Otherwise she can’t find all her shows properly. She likes what she likes and to find her shows she now needs to select the search function down the very bottom to bring up the alphabetical listing.
There’s no longer any way to see how much time remains before the timer expires, and there are now arbitrary groupings of shows that are irrelevant to my kid on the home page. The new version seems to have removed most of these and made the app far too complicated for solo toddler operation. The old version was great, it was simple, toddler-friendly and had helpful and functional parental controls. This is a staple app in our house! We’ve used it daily for a few years.
